Hi Everyone! I just thought I would give a little update since I haven't done so in a long time. As some of you know I got to see my old friends Anne and Ryan Johnson who live in Idaho last month. I was there for their family reunion/thanksgiving party. I got sick the day after I got back and it stuck around for a few weeks, but the day before Thanksgiving I started feeling just a little bit better so I made my fantasti pumpkin pie and took it to a friends for dinner the next day. For Christmas I will also be going up to Anne's and since I have Monday and Tuesday after Christmas off I will be spending some time with Justin, Jessica, Mark and Scott. I'm so excited. I miss everyone SO much and Mike, I can't believe about your house. I'll be praying for you! Oh, and I have a surprise you everyone this christmas and part of it is coming from Justin so you guys be prepared to be shocked. I love you!!!

The Sky is Falling, The Sky is Falling!!!

Yea, yea I know you have heard it all before, but this is different. Some of you know that I had a leak in my a/c that ran down my wall in my closet in the hallway. Well, I ripped out the drywall to make sure everything could dry, but I stll found mold anyway. (Bummer I know)

Finally after two weeks the mold guy came to check out everything last Monday, then it happened!!!

The rain came. It rained really hard for about an hour. Then I hear it...drip, drip, drip...arrrghhh!!

Not again!

But hold on everyone...wait just a minute! It wasn't the a/c!

THERE IS A LEAK IN MY ROOF!! and wouldn't you know that is right about the a/c. Could it have been in a worse place? I already paid for the a/c guy to "fix" that problem and it wasn't even the right one.

But that is just half the problem. I spoke with Charlie and explained the situation and he told me how to fix it. So naturally I get up on the roof and go check it out to see if I can fix it. As I am walking around up there I feel the roof sinking in on me every time I take a step. Now I know I haven't been working out like I use to ,but i not that fat! Every step I am sinking in half an inch or so. So I call another buddy of mine 'cause he works for a builder and tell him what's going on.

Do you know what he tells me?

Don't get on the roof if it's doing that 'cause you could fall through. So now instead of just a tiny leak that I could fix myself for $20-30 bucks I going to have to spend 8-10 THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Can you see my frustration!?

(Anyone want to buy a house with a slight leak?) LOL yea, me either.

Now instead of doing my normal "extra" work at night to I am going to have to do "Extra Hard" work to earn some more money.

Any suggestions?

Mom has been put on a stricked diet and antibiotics and will be going into pre-op on Jan 13th and then a date will be set with in a week of that date.

Mom's next appointment

I got a call from Leo this morning and Mom's next dr's appointment is on the 4th. So, if you only call her once this week make it some time around that day. Keep her in your prayers! Oh, if anyone happens to talk to Richard please tell him that Mom would like a call!!!! Love you all!! Nico

Mom's Out of the Hospital (for now)

Nicolle was nice enough to send me a text message telling me that Mom is out of the hospital. She has not had surgery yet as her condition will not permit. Please send her your love.

New Update on Mom

I just talked to mom and she will not be leaving the hospital today. The doctor will not let her go until she is able to tolerate bland food and at this point she can't even drink water. They also said that she will most likely not have surgery for at least 5 weeks because her gallbladder is too swollen. So, continue your prayers, especially if you haven't started! I'm not ready to give up my mommy yet!! Also, Mom said, "Could you please tell the boys to call me?! I don't hear from them enough!!" Can I just say... What is wrong with you guys!!?? She's been in the hospital for a week there is no reason each of you can't find 5 min. a day to give her a call and find out how she is doing. The funny things about mom is that she misses it when "the boys" don't call and it doesn't make any difference how many times Leo and I call her, she wants her boys!! SO CALL YOUR MOTHER!!!!!!!!! I love you guys and I hope you are having a fantastic day! By the way, you can call me while you're at it! My # has not changed 757-639-0309!

Mom's In the Hospital!!

I just got a call from Titi Gladis and Mom is in the hopital. She has a bad infection in her gall bladder and will have to go in to surgery ASAP. They are waiting until they can kill some of the infection that has already spread to all of her surrounding organs.

I have a number to call her direct. 1-800-449-8729 x 18917 as soon as the message comes up dial the extention imidiately and you will be directed to mom's private room at the hospital. If she is awake she will answer the phone.

I finally got it!

Hi everyone! I finally got the instructions to post a blog so I decided to add a few pics... ok maybe more than a few. I just got back some new pics so I thought I would pass them along. Things are going well here. I'm graduating from my Blue Cross training today.I'm really excited because the resources here are fantastic. It's amazingwhat you can accomplish when you can find the information!As you can see by the pictures I am actually meeting people! Beckie...i'm not a hermit any more! The first pictures is, r to l, Travis... isn'the cute (mom this is the guy I told you about that is getting divorced this month), Kiley, and Efrain. This was taken last week after we went to ahaunted house. We had about 15 people come over and play games. It was greatfun! The next six pics are from a retreat that I went to at Heber ValleyCamp. Isn't it beautiful. The kissing girl is my roommate Vicky. The next pic is Vicky and the guy she likes. You should notice Philip is next, and then there are all the ducks from my complex. The next three pics are from the Greek Fest; one is of Ginger and me, and the last one is of a sunset from my balcony. I have to run. I graduated from training today and I'm moving to a new desk. Here are the most recent pics I have. Thankfully I have lost about 13 lbs. since the pic of me was taken in July so I'm looking a little better.

Philip is the current love of my life but nothing really exciting has happened there yet. I know, I know... I'm dreaming but he's a fantastic guy so I can't help it. Things here have been wonderful. I went to the zoo with Vicky, my roommate, yesterday and we had a great time. I will be starting my new job at Blue Cross on the 19th and I'm really excited about that.

By the way, Jess... I only have to work on Thurs and Sat this week, when would you like to get together? You can call me any time since I have minutes again. Oh, and can you send me the pics that we took at the band concert?

Girls Birthday coming up!!

I was speaking with mom last night and she said that no one is really calling her since she moved. I have her number (I'm not going to put it here just ask for it). Her cell phone doesn't work very well where she is at, so you need to call her at the house.

Mom in Puerto Rico

I spoke with mom and she is in Puerto Rico. She got in a car accident the first day with Abuelo. He was driving. They are both ok. Not much else going on here.

This is Wendy's daughter Lexie. She was going out on the town with her grandma. Princess Lexie will be 12 on Sept 6th.
